Oregon State Beavers letter sweater - M / L

Here's a fantastic very vintage 1940s Oregon State Beavers varsity letterman V-neck pullover sweater made in USA by HL Whiting, size about M / L. This goes back to the Oregon State College days. This absolute gem belonged to legendary Beaver Martin Chaves, captain of the 1942 Rose Bowl football team and later president of the Beaver Athletic Student Fund. Check out the elegant classic chenille letter and stripes. Take a look at the brand tag. So cool. This relic is made of heavy weight, thick, durable wool. I'm amazed how well cared for it's been.

This baby is in excellent, rare condition. No rips, holes, or stains. Use is very light. The colors are sharp. It has been stored superbly.
