Folks, we have a lot listing of rare 1930s USC (University of Southern California) relics.
Here's an amazing vintage USC Trojans authentic wool letterman sweater made by Olympia Knitting Mills (a Wil Wite model) in Olympia, WA. It was sold by Silverwood's clothing store of southern California. This varsity gem is from the 1930s! See the ACCOMPANYING 1932-33 official USC student handbook! This 1930s -- yes '30s -- letter sweater is the real deal. It's a gorgeous, elegant, durable, and very thick button-up cardigan. It features two front pockets and a FELT SC circular patch. It is not very big -- see measurements below. This baby is in great vintage condition -- no rips, or holes. The colors are sharp. There are several whitish marks that you can attempt to treat (see photographs). The wool is in tremendous condition and you can tell this sweater has been well stored and well taken care of. Overall -- great vintage condition.
Pit to Pit: 18.75"
Top to Bottom: 25"
Here's a fine example of 1930s rah-rah school spirit. Here are 3 wool felt pennants. The two small ones have Chicago Pennant Co tags. The large one features a big leather USC crest patch. These show their age -- there are occasional small moth or pin holes.
Here's an official 1932-33 school year USC student handbook. Wow, it's so cool! It features ads, student groups, songs/yells/cheers, coaches, traditions, etc. It's in excellent condition.
