Here's a righteous, most epic, very old school Portland Trailblazers collectible lot. We're talking rare pieces for the biggest fans.
Included: two jackets, buttons, and a team signed menu from the airport in 1977. The Blazer Booster Club debuted during the 1976-1977, the year the squad won the NBA Finals championship, and became World Champions. The Club still exists and is very
active to this day.
One jacket has one button and is in great shape. The top back has been signed by four players: Lionel Hollins, TR Dunn, Larry Steele, and Corky Calhoun. The other jacket has been worn more and has 17 buttons. There are booster club buttons from 1977-1980, a large Go Blazers red one, a 300th consecutive sellout from 1984, and the classic smaller coaches and players, which include legendary Bill Walton (loves Portland, loves his bike), Coach Dr Jack Ramsay, coach Jack McKinney (of Showtime Lakers lore),
Corky Calhoun, Bob Gross, Larry Steele, Dave Twardzik, Lloyd Neal, TR Dunn, Lionel Hollins, Tom Owens, and Johnny Davis. Check out the amazing booster graphic logo with ball, Davy Crockett hat, and sneakers. I LOVE IT!
The menu from The Brewery in Grants Pass, Oregon has several player signatures obtained from the airport May 27, 1977. Included: Bob Gross, Lionel Hollins, Larry Steele, Lloyd Neal, Johnny Davis, Hall of Fame coach Jack Ramsay, someone named Brian, and Wally Walker.
These babies are in solid condition. They show some love, though have much love to go. The one with only one button is best with only a few pinholes on the front and a couple subtle sleeve marks. This is the one with four signatures on the back of the shoulders. The one with numerous buttons has a few more marks on the sleeves (2nd to last photo) and shows a bit more wear. The liner near the tag has a large blotch (see last photo).
